Grown to perfection, this garlic will be the start to any delicious meal. Leave the cloves whole or crushed for a more mild taste, mince or grate to maximize the garlic flavor.
Broccolini - 1 bunch - Hayshaker Farm, Walla Walla, WA - Broccolini is crunchy with a mild bitterness when raw and sweeter when cooked. Sauteing broccolini as a side dish or adding to curry or pasta are some of our favorite ways to use these versatile little trees! Pair with strong flavors like garlic, lemon, chili, or sesame.
Beefsteak Tomatoes - ~1 2/3 lb - Royal Produce, Royal City, WA - Beefsteak tomatoes are one of the largest tomatoes. Use big slices of these tomatoes in sandwiches or herbed tomato salad, or preserve them for soups and sauces in the winter!
Red Beets - 1 bunch - Hayshaker Farm, Walla Walla, WA - The classic red beet that oozes earthy, sweet, and floral flavors. Try roasting as a side or grating fresh as a sandwich topper. Pairs well with lemon, parsley, thyme, black pepper, or spring greens.
Red Onions - 1 pint - Elithorp Farm, Deer Park, WA - Red onions add a beautiful deep color and satisfying crunch to salads and sandwiches. When cooked, roasted, or grilled they become sweet and caramelly. Don't shy away from using these colorful bulbs in place of white or yellow onions.
Mixed Bell Peppers - ~3/4 lb - Royal Produce, Royal City, WA - Red, yellow, orange, green, and purple peppers! We love a bell pepper on a veggie tray, on pizza, in ratatouille or in fajitas.
