Carrots - ~ 1 1/4 lb - Hayshaker Farm, Walla Walla WA - Sweet, crunchy, and classic. This root is a staple snack or a much-loved addition to salads and stews. Feature the flavor of carrots by roasting them with garlic and parmesan or sautéing with sage.
Winter Radishes - ~ 1 1/4 lb - Hayshaker Farm, Walla Walla, WA - This brightly colored mix will add color your winter days. Similar to the flavor of the classic red round radishes, winter radishes have mild to medium in spice. Winter radishes make a great addition to slaws, are tasty when pickled for tacos and sandwiches, and add a crisp texture to ramen soup. Find a rainbow of hues in these purple, red, watermelon, white, and green radishes!
Banana Fingerling Potatoes - ~ 2 1/2 lb - Royal Produce, Royal City, WA - These small, long potatoes are perfect for roasting. This heirloom variety is fluffy, nutty, and buttery when cooked!
Golden Beets - ~ 1 1/4 lb - Hayshaker Farm, Walla Walla, WA - Sweet beetroots without the mess of red beets! Great for roasting or grating fresh into a salad.
Comice Pears - ~ 1 lb - Tonnemaker Hill Farm, Royal City, WA - The Comice pear, also known as the “Christmas pear” is highly favored for its size, texture, and sweet flavor for raw and cooked dishes. Excellent sliced and tossed in green salads or chopped and combined with nuts and fresh herbs as a simple side!
Red Onions - ~ 1 lb - Swiss Farms, Omak, WA - Red onions add a beautiful deep color and satisfying crunch to salads and sandwiches. When cooked, roasted, or grilled they become sweet and caramelly. Don't shy away from using these colorful bulbs in place of white or yellow onions.

The Grain Shed takes local grain from within 100 miles of Spokane and mills it fresh in an on-site stone mill.
