Radishes - ~ 3/4 lb - Hayshaker Farm, Walla Walla, WA - Try sliced radishes with butter and salt! We also enjoy pickling these fresh radishes for tacos, or for our LINC Box Bahn Mi Recipe.
Salanova Lettuce - 1 count - Hayshaker Farm, Walla Walla, WA - Small heads that only require a single cut near the base to prepare for salads and sandwiches. Farmer's choice of red or green heads of various textures, including butter, oakleaf, incised, and sweet crisp.
Beefsteak tomatoes - ~ 1 lb - Hedlin Farms, Mount Vernon, WA - Beefsteak tomatoes are one of the largest tomatoes and have beautiful scalloped ridges. Use big slices of these tomatoes in sandwiches or herbed tomato salad, or preserve them for soups and sauces in the winter!
Asparagus - ~ 3/4 lb - Royal Produce, Royal city, WA - Enjoy fresh spring asparagus during its short window of availability! Asparagus is one of those hyper-seasonal items but we'll have these tender, green shoots around for through the end of May - soak in this beautiful sign of spring while you can!
Garlic Scapes - 1/4 lb - Channing Farm, Twisp, WA - Garlic scapes are the stalks that grow from the bulbs of hardneck garlic plants. Chop into small pieces and sauté for dishes that call for garlic cloves - the flavor is similar with an added freshness! You can also try grilling them whole or making garlic scape pesto!
