Purple Sprouting Broccoli - 1 bunch - Westwind Organics, Mount Vernon, WA - Purple sprouting broccoli has a flavor that's slightly nutty, sweet, and peppery. This bouquet worthy vegetable adds great flavor and beauty to pizza, quiche, curries, or pasta. It is bred for overwintering and is extremely gold tolerant. Purple sprouting broccoli exhibits Amy and Jacob's talent for growing high quality winter vegetables.
Blackberries - 1 half pint - Aichele Farm, Stanfield, OR - These tasty gems are a perfect snack, refreshing addition to lemonade, or make for an incredible cobbler!
Fresh Red Onions - ~ 1 bu - Boldly Grown Farm, Bow, WA - Use both the bulb and greens of these fresh onions that haven’t been dried or cured. Fresh onions have a a sweeter and milder flavor than storage onions, making them a great candidate for salads or grilling.
Yu Choi - 1 bunch - Hayshaker Farm, Walla Walla, WA - Yu choi is very sweet and tender. Its stems are a vibrant bright green and it’s usually harvested as the first few buds are opening. Yu choi is excellent in stir-frys, steamed, or in soups.
English Cucumbers - ~ 1 lb - Frog Hollow Farm, Walla Walla, WA - No need to peel or scoop out the seeds of this tasty cucumber variety! English cucumbers are seedless and have a sweet and thin skin, making it a prime choice for easy prep.
Red or Gold Beets - 1 bunch - Ralph’s Greenhouse, Mount Vernon, WA - The classic red beet that oozes earthy, sweet, and floral flavors. Try roasting as a side or grating fresh as a sandwich topper. Pairs well with lemon, parsley, thyme, black pepper, or spring greens.
Kale - 1 bunch - Hayshaker Farm, Walla Walla, WA - Kale is a tasty and nutritious green with a earthy and bittersweet flavor. It has high levels of fiber, antioxidants, calcium, vitamins C and K, and iron. Massaging or cooking these greens breaks down their texture, making them sweeter and easier to digest. ARTISAN CHEESE | enchilado - lake wolf creamery, deer park, wa - A dry, chili-dressed cheese. Enchilado, our most robust artisan cheese, is also the longest-aged. Following Mexican custom, we hand dress the exterior with a red chili pepper finish. Traditionally, this cheese is used in enchiladas and can be fried, no butter needed. We often top our soups, pasta dishes, and salads with crumbled Enchilado, delivering an extra zest!

She rotates the chickens daily on no-spray pasture so they can enjoy the sunshine, bugs, and fresh water. The poultry receive a non-GMO, locally grown grain mix produced by farmer on the Palouse.
