Farm Spotlight: Courage to Grow Farms

Phillip and Shaneese started Courage to Grow Farms just this year with the vision of impacting their community with greater access to local produce. They also hope to use farming as a medium to mentor youth in the Hillyard neighborhood and foster business management and marketing skills. Courage to Grow Farms is committed to zero waste and uses all compostable packaging. Goals for this year include getting a licence to process goods such as hummus, salsa, and pesto. Courage to Grow Farms grows baby root vegetables, lettuce, microgreens, and much more. Find their produce in future LINC Boxes and say hello at the Emerson Garfield, Hillyard, and West Plains farmers markets!
